Pressure Washing FAQs

Common questions about our pressure washing and softwashing services.

We clean patios, driveways, paths, decking, tarmac, block paving, natural stone, sandstone, concrete, and more. If you're unsure whether your surface is suitable, just ask — we'll advise.

Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to remove dirt and grime from hard surfaces. Softwashing uses lower pressure combined with specialist biodegradable cleaning solutions — ideal for delicate surfaces like painted render, wooden decking, or natural sandstone where high pressure could cause damage.

When done correctly, no. We assess every surface before starting and adjust our equipment and technique accordingly. For delicate materials, we use softwashing. We're experienced professionals — your surfaces are in safe hands.

It depends on the size and condition of the area. A standard driveway typically takes 2–4 hours. A full patio and driveway combo might be a half-day or full-day job. We'll give you an estimate with your quote.

Black spots are usually a type of lichen or algae that embeds itself into paving. They're very common on Indian sandstone and concrete slabs. We use specialist treatments to remove them effectively without damaging the stone.

Yes. After cleaning block paving, we brush kiln-dried sand into the joints to stabilise the blocks and help prevent weed regrowth. This is included as standard.

We can significantly reduce the appearance of oil stains, though complete removal depends on how long the stain has been there and the type of surface. We'll be honest about what results to expect.
